We worked with Rainbow, one of Poland's leading tour operators, supporting their e-commerce team in bringing their new loyalty program, Bumerang, to life. The program is built on the principle that “good deeds come back like a boomerang” and rewards loyal customers with exclusive benefits. The main challenge: deliver a sleek, user-friendly design aligned with Rainbow's business goals and with users' needs and habits.
Challenge
Rainbow needed a loyalty program that would engage users, reflect the spirit of the brand, and be intuitive enough to keep customers participating long term. The solution had to be visually appealing and functional at once, so customers could quickly understand how to join and start using the benefits.
Solution
Our team crafted a design that balances aesthetics with usability. The interface lets users navigate the Bumerang program with ease. We streamlined the sign-up process and shaped the user interface (UI) to guide users through each step clearly, reducing friction and confusion.
“The Startup House design really hit the mark for us. It’s simple, intuitive, and makes it easy for customers to see the benefits right away. This kind of clarity has really helped us boost engagement in the program.”

Michał Jaworski
E-Commerce Director at Rainbow

The Design
The design uses Rainbow's bold, energetic visuals, so customers feel at home instantly. We refined the UX for smooth, intuitive interactions, a clear step up from the traditional loyalty cards customers used for years.
“What really stood out for us was how well the design balanced our brand identity with a user-friendly experience. It’s not just about looking good; it actually works in terms of driving customer interaction and achieving our goals.”

Project Manager at Rainbow
Results
The final product is a loyalty program that feels true to Rainbow's identity and delivers real value to the company and its customers. Within the first two weeks, 20,000 customers signed up for the Bumerang program, confirming the concept was spot on.
“We’ve already seen a strong response from our customers. The fact that 20,000 people joined in just the first two weeks shows that we really hit the mark with this idea.”

Katarzyna Rutkowska-Suwała
Project Manager at Rainbow

Easy-to-follow copy, a well-designed interface, and a smooth user experience led to:
Increased sign-ups
A noticeable uptick in customer registrations for the loyalty program within the first few weeks of launch.
Higher engagement
With an intuitive interface and clear messaging, users quickly started engaging with the program, redeeming benefits, and coming back for more.
Improved customer loyalty
We're confident the Bumerang program will strengthen Rainbow's connection with its customers even further, contributing to higher retention and repeat business.
“The program is easy to use, and that’s been key to its success. We’re seeing people sign up and come back to use the benefits more often.”

Michał Jaworski
E-Commerce Director at Rainbow

Our Approach
To make sure the design truly reflected Rainbow's business objectives, we ran several workshops with their team. This collaborative approach kept the program's design aligned with their goals and gave us continuous feedback throughout the project.
To get the design right, we ran two rounds of extensive testing with real users from very different backgrounds. That range of perspectives helped us fine-tune the balance between aesthetics and functionality and craft an interface that is both visually striking and intuitive for everyone, across different needs and habits.
We also brought a UX writer into the project team, so every message lands clearly. The result: a program that looks good and communicates with users in plain, precise language.
“The user testing was a real game-changer. Seeing how people from different backgrounds interacted with the program helped us refine the design and make it as intuitive as possible. It made a huge difference in the final product.”

Conclusion
Projects like this confirm that a holistic view of the product helps our clients reach their business goals. The success of the Bumerang program is the result of true partnership: bold, creative team members, partners, and leaders on both sides.
