Graspify and SH jointly created a microlearning platform that turned a bold vision into a working product for corporate training. Through Product Discovery, design, testing, and development, we delivered a tool that companies can roll out to employees while tracking how they actually use it.
Graspify is a Norwegian startup, a member of the Kjentfolk society, backed by education experts. Its mission is to change the way companies train employees. It does this with a microlearning platform built on the science of how we learn.
Challenge
The Graspify expert team had a clear goal: to free corporate training from long, traditional formats. The challenge was turning that vision into a practical, working product.

Our approach
We split the project into smaller phases, each with its own budget. Every phase ended with user testing, either in one‑on‑one sessions or with a broader, trusted group.
In January 2021, we completed Product Discovery with a clear vision for Graspify 1.0. The next stages covered the MVP (Graspify 1.0 and 1.1) and an extended release (Graspify 2.0 and 2.1). Clients used this extended version during corporate events.

Solution
On the Graspify platform, companies create their own training content, invite employees, and manage access to Grasps and courses. Managers can see which content is being viewed and how employees are progressing. Based on this, the system suggests each person’s next courses and Grasps.
Graspify is a research‑backed way of learning: fast, convenient, and effective.
Timeline & milestones
First Discovery process
SH’s task was to craft the overarching product vision. In the Product Discovery phase, we focused on the most important processes and flows. We also tested how users engage with short course snippets—Grasps. The biggest challenge was balancing the format, length, and difficulty level of a single Grasp so it stayed simple. This phase resulted in Graspify 1.0, the first version of the MVP.
Graspify 1.0 and 1.1
With Graspify 1.0, selected clients and users could create both Grasps (mini‑courses made up of 5–6 slides) and full courses. They came from large Norwegian companies looking for innovative approaches to microlearning in their organizations. This stage delivered a substantial amount of data for analysis.
Graspify 2.0 and 2.1
Graspify runs across multiple corporate accounts in Norway and is being tested live during company events. MVP results defined the scope of Graspify 2.0, and feedback from events feeds into version 2.1.

Conclusion
In August 2022, a Graspify client organized an event for hundreds of employees and used Graspify MVP (2.0) as the central tool for training them on new products and internal processes.
